Georgia Roadside Wildflowers and more, September 2 and 3, 2003
Cindy and Gerry spent Sep 2, 2003 exploring Charlie's Creek Road, planning on doing some gold-panning in Charlie's Creek, but finding the wildflowers a wonderful experience.
On Sep 3, we drove up FR 76 from near Helen, Ga, to Tray Gap. This road borders the Tray Mountain Wilderness, and is a very rugged mountain road. It appears to be no longer maintained (for several years), and is definitely high ground-clearance and 4WD for most of its length. This time of year was great for wildflowers along the road.
** If you can help identify any of the flowers, please email me. **
