Easy to make black bean “chili” – mostly from cans.
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 – 1/3 cups water
- 1 cup medium (or your preference) salsa
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Brown the ground beef and drain. Combine the cans of black beans, cream of mushroom soup, water, and salsa in a large saucepan. Heat and stir together. As it starts to warm up, add the ground beef to the saucepan. Continue to heat and add the onions and sour cream.
Additional sour cream, green onions, and shredded cheese can be added as garnishments when served.
