Sugar<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 C. butter<\/li>\n<li>2\/3 C. evaporated milk<\/li>\n<li>One 4-oz pkg instant butterscotch pudding mix<\/li>\n<li>3.5 C. quick-cooking oats<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>In a large saucepan, bring sugar, butter, &amp; milk to a rolling boil, stirring often<\/li>\n<li>Remove from heat<\/li>\n<li>Add instant pudding and oats<\/li>\n<li>Mix thoroughly<\/li>\n<li>Cool 15 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Drop by rounded teaspoonsful onto waxed paper and let rest until firm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note: You can substitute other flavored puddings as desired.\u00a0 Suggestions include chocolate and butter pecan.<\/p>\n<p>Gluten note: Oats are naturally gluten-free, but may be processed in facilities that also process grains with gluten; get oats that are listed as gluten-free if you are particularly sensitive.
