This fellow and the one in the next photo started the AT the previous September (2004) in Maine. Here we are, Feb 18, and they've only got about 370 miles to go to complete the 2000+ mile Appalachian Trail. This guy was looking for a way south from Canada, heard about the trail and start walking.
